Watercolour Development workshop at Hope & Elvis {Welbeck Estate} 31st August - 21st September 2018

Regular price £150.00 Sale

I will be hosting a series of watercolour workshops at the amazing studio run by Hope & Elvis who run extremely successful artisan workshops in a light and airy space. Based in the gorgeous grounds of the Welbeck Estate in Worksop the classes will run once a week for a 4 week series.

  • Weekly from Friday 31st August - Friday 21st September.
  • 6pm - 9pm (workshop beings at 6.30pm)

This workshop is for beginners or for those who would like to learn a new skill, some time to themselves and all round therapy through painting.

My practice involves painting watercolour florals and botanicals from still life or images. I only use the finest media and materials to create stylish modern art. This is a great series workshop to begin your journey with watercolour. Using traditional watercolour methods I will take you through the process of using watercolour from the very beginning. Paper preparations, mixing colours, development of painting botanicals through to finally painting your very own florals by week 4.

Fresh flowers will be set out on the tables ready for us to begin painting still life using your own style but still guided by me. My workshops are relaxed, therapeutic and a great opportunity to meet with like-minded and creative people. By the end of the series you'll be able to paint your very own watercolour botanicals and florals from still life or an image.

You can use these skills learnt to create your own artwork, cards or even your own wedding stationery if you're getting married.

Materials are provided for you to use at each session and everything you create is yours to take home.

Soft drinks, prosecco and nibbles will be provided each week.

There will only be 15 places available, there has been a very high demand for this workshop so to book your place and avoid disappointment click the button 'Add to Cart' to secure your place.

In the event of a cancellation payments are non-refundable, however if the place is filled credit maybe given for future workshops in association with Hope & Elvis.

In the unlikely event we have to cancel or postpone a workshop due to unavoidable circumstances or if we are unable to meet the minimum number of participants needed to run the workshop, we will endeavour to give our guests as much notice as possible. We will happily refund the full booking fee or transfer your booking to another workshop of the same price, space permitting.
