First of all I want to apologies for my lack of blogging.. its that time of year when weddings really get busy. I do have some exciting new blogs coming up that I think you'll like. If there's anything you want me to write about, any wedding planning problems you're having, you need some advice about anything then please do let me know.
Anyways.. Wedding venue illustrations...
If you follow me on the socials you'll have seen that I have been sharing new artwork and I now offer bespoke venue illustrations. These can be of your wedding venue, church or even your home.
I'm absolutely loving the requests that are coming through at the moment and I can honestly say its an absolute pleasure to create these for you.
Here's a little insight to how the process works...
You can either have the illustration for your wedding stationery, as a keep sake or both. If you would like the illustration for your wedding stationery drop me a message and I can give you a bespoke quote.
For watercolour illustrations I offer 3 sizes to keep it simple, A5, A4 or A3. Obviously if you have a specific measurement you need I can accommodate to that and will cost it for you accordingly, click this link for pricing guidelines.
Once you have decided on the size of the illustration you can either pay the full balance upfront or split the cost over 2 payments and I will invoice these separately to you. If the latter is what you'd prefer to do please contact me rather than paying through my website.
I will then ask for a high resolution image of the venue you would like illustrating to be emailed over to me, it needs to be high res so I can see all the details. I will then block the time out to work on your illustration, the time it takes to create it can vary depending on the time of year, depth of detail and the size so please give yourself a 4 week buffer. If you need it last minute for a gift say please send me an email and I will do what I can to accommodate you.
The process for watercolour can take a couple of days to prep as the paper needs soaking and stretching to avoid ripples, it then needs drying out before I can start. Once this process is complete I can begin. For watercolour painting I like to work in stages and build on the painting to add more depth and detail, at the beginning I will be able to work out roughly how long it will take so you will have an idea when you'll receive it.
I only use the finest art materials and traditional watercolour 300gsm paper. Your artwork will be wrapped and packaged for you and send via the post (unless you'd like to pick up or meet up).
Please note that artwork is unframed.
If you have a request for an illustration please drop me a message, I love working on new projects and making peoples ideas come to life. I create modern, stylish art for the home, stationery or small businesses. Look forward to hearing from you, have a fabulous day.
Here's some of my most recent work.. enjoy!
