Here's a project I loved working on and I want to share it with you.
Lara (wedding photographer) was photographing a wedding of a mutual friend of ours at Wentworth House last year and she loved the stationery at the wedding. Luckily it was me that designed it and not shortly after the wedding Lara contacted me about designing a logo for her, we had a long conversation on the phone about logos and branding and we put a date in the diary to meet up in a few months time when the wedding season calmed down a bit.
We met for a coffee which ended up being a few hours of basically re-branding and getting to the core of Lara's business, it was such a nice afternoon and I felt so ready for working on this project when I was driving home! We both got super excited about it and wanted to crack on as soon as possible.
Lara has a wonderful business with the most gorgeous light and airy wedding photography style you could wish for. I could see what she was all about just from looking through her photos and work.
We started by talking about what colours Lara wanted to go for, how she wanted her brand to feel, who her favourite brands were and ultimately who her customer is.
We created an inspo board we could both add to and work on throughout the process. Adding our favourite fonts to the most inspirational brands, seasonal flowers and colours.
Ultimately we wanted the brand to reflect Lara's photography and personality, so here's how the final look came together -
Lara's Main Logo & Sub Logo's
All the artwork is hand painted by me for Lara to use throughout her branding from her website to packaging.
For Lara I designed & created the following -
- Main Logo
- Sub Logo's
- Watercolour Artwork
- Thank you cards
