Happy New Year - 2019 for Amy Bailey Design

Happy New Year!

Hello you lovely bunch! I just wanted to pop a little email across to wish you a Happy New Year! I hope you've had a wonderful time enjoying all the festivities and seeing loved ones. I totally embraced the Christmas break, it was much needed here. I've slept, read, ate and drank so much {as most people do} and I am feeling refreshed and ready to go into 2019 with clear head and lots of exciting plans.

The time between Christmas and New Year, 'Twixmas' as they say, is a time to reflect and plan ahead. I've done a lot of that for both my business and my personal life over the week, have you?

I won't go into the personal stuff but I have decided to make some changes in my business I want you to know about. For my bespoke clients I'm going to be changing the process in which work. This is because good design and artwork need and take time. Time to do the research, time to create the mood boards, time to create the artwork and time to design the final piece(s). I want my clients to have more time for discussions & tweaks and I don't want to rush anymore. My best work is created when I take my time. I painted this commission when I was on holiday in Scotland back in October and its one of my favourites to date..

I will also be launching a 'print your own' wedding stationery option in my collections. I haven't done this before simply because I wouldn't have control of the printing and card quality, but having thought long and hard about it I think its a good idea. Its great for those who want beautifully designed stationery at a more affordable and efficient option. I'm getting more and more orders and enquiries for overseas clients so I think it will benefit them too, they can print locally to them without the hassle of the postal services being delayed whilst reducing their carbon footprint. My final reason for it is I think its a great option for those who want to have a more eco-friendly wedding.

This option will be going live in January sometime so keep an eye out if its something you're interested in. The process will be the same, I will send you a form to fill out - I will edit the items for you and you will receive the final documents that will be ready to print in PDF format {you won't be able to edit them}. There will also be T&C's included {like always} so make sure you read these before going ahead.

Wedding Invites - Nottingham UK. Print your own

My little offer to you..

I have noticed lots of new enquiries coming through since Christmas. January is busy time of year for those working in the wedding industry, either people have just got engaged or they've got Christmas out of the way and they want to get organised because they're getting married this year! In any case its super exciting!!

I do want to let you know that my prices are going up at the end of January. The price of card and paper have increased by 8% since October and do continue to rise due to the demand of beautiful quality papers. Before I do this, I do want to put on a little offer though..

When you spend £400 on wedding stationery {invites and or day stationery} from my
customised collections  you will receive £50.00 off until 20th January using the code 2019WEDDING.
Unfortunately this doesn't include bespoke work (reasons mentioned above) however, colours can be edited at a small cost.

So.. if you've been thinking about ordering, now's the time to get them at 2018 prices.
