I'm always being challenged to think of 'outside the box' table plan ideas for weddings. Couples either want something unique that suits their personality or something super stylish. So.. here I have put together a blog post full of ideas of different designs I've worked on for you to ponder over.
Individual Cards & Floral Displays
Ask your designer to vary the design of your table plan cards to add more of a dimension to the design like above. Your wedding florist could design you some sprays to frame it too. This table plan was created by me for the West Mill in Derbyshire, displayed on their stunning architects easel.

Hanging Table Plan
I know this isn't an actual table plan but you get the gist. Why not hire/buy or make a metal frame and hang your table plan cards or large table plan from it? You could even add some flower heads and foliage from the string in-between the cards! OR have a floral spray in the corners of the frame.

I am having more and more requests to illustrate my couples venues (thank you!!). Some want hand drawn sketches and some want them with watercolour. Its a great way of incorporating your wedding venue in your stationery! You can even have it as a print keepsake to have at home.

Keeping It Simple
If you want to go for something really simple and clean this option is great. Have a simple design to add some colour or just having the clean text layout. Printed onto foamex board so you can display your table plan on an easel --- sometimes less is more!

Scroll Table Plan
I know this is a cake table but back drops like this are so popular at the moment. How about having your table plan printed onto a design like this? You could incorporate your theme in the design and have your table plan hanging from a frame. So many options with this style!

When stationers collaborate amazing things happen! Why not ask your favourite designer and calligrapher to collaborate for your wedding stationery? This was a 'herb garden' table plan myself and Polly & Me worked on. I designed all the artwork and sent the cards over to Ali at Polly & Me to hand write the table names on - this table plan is definitely a favourite!

Dressing Table of Glass Domes and Floral Displays
If you want a bit of glamour this is a great option. A variety of glass dome sizes with individual table cards in each one. Gorgeous floral display to finish the look off.
